Zelensky and Starmer Strengthen Ties with New Loan Agreement

UK Signs Loan to Support Ukraine’s Defense

During a recent meeting in London, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer discussed the ongoing challenges in Ukraine and Europe. The meeting focused on strengthening Ukraine's defense and achieving peace.

A significant outcome was the signing of a Loan Agreement between Ukraine and the UK. This loan will enhance Ukraine's defense capabilities and will be repaid using revenues from frozen Russian assets. The funds will be used for weapons production in Ukraine.

Zelensky expressed his gratitude to the UK for their support since the beginning of the war. He emphasized the importance of having strong partners like the UK, who share the same vision of a secure future.

This agreement is a crucial step in helping Ukraine defend itself and ensuring that those responsible for the war bear the financial burden.
